Who are we?

David DeBenedictis “Monsieur de Floride”

David has been a student of the family histories, the traditions, the geography, the cuisine, and (of course) the wines of Burgundy for nearly twenty years. He considers himself to be a Stateside ambassador at large for the Burgundians and has planned many tasting and eating trips for others. Terroir Wine Seminars was created in response to the demand for professionally led, high end experiences. David lives with his wife Janice in Boca Raton, Florida.

Christophe Tupinier

Christophe is the editor of Bourgogne Aujourd’hui, the Beaune based glossy magazine devoted entirely to the wines and lifestyles of Burgundy. He organizes nearly daily professional tastings and has the opportunity to taste more samples of Burgundy than anyone in the world. Christophe lives with his wife Sabine near Nuits St. Georges.

Jean Philippe LeFils “JP”

Jean Philippe is part of multi generational Burgundian family – the priest used DRC to baptize him! JP is a courtier, utilizing his lifelong relationships with the growers, the vignerons, and the negoçiants to weave the complicated quilt of buying and selling vineyards, grapes, must, juice, wine, or whatever. He lives near Beaune with his American born wife Alisa.
